I would like to be a player moderator because I feel since I have played this server for an exceedingly long time I have seen a lot of rule breaking going on. Although the staff we have is exemplary I feel they don’t get on as much as needed. I feel I am on quite often and might be able to help for that reason. Also I would like to stop spamming, glitching, duping etc. I would try to help out new players or any players who need help at all. I would also like to bring new players into the game, and keep the players who are currently playing happy with the game. To make a long story short I would like to stop any type of abusing the rules whatsoever, and help others to embrace and enjoy this server.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------What I think A Player Moderator Should Do

As a player moderator I feel my duties would be to help out with the server, enforce the previouscape rules, and help other players with the server. I think that although you have player moderator status it doesn’t make you any better than the other players, and that all players have equivalent rights, rules, and should be respected just as much as they respect other players, but the moderators are there to enforce that all players are following the rules and receiving the respect they deserve, so just because you’re a moderator you can’t treat other players differently just because, or if you don’t like them. You should have a strong reason for every single one of your actions. You shouldn’t abuse your moderator status by banning, muting, teleing ppl etc. If someone did NOT do anything at all and just comes up to you saying ban me, mute me etc. you shouldn’t do it I have seen this problem occur many times. One time i told a player moderator the case of which i strongly felt a friend of mine was duping. The next day my friend was angry because i told on him. I asked him how he found out, and he said the mods told him. I think a player moderator should have the liability to keep information such as reporting completely anonymous and confidential. You should also bring new players into the game, get them positive about the server, and keep the currently existing players happy with the server they’re playing. The more the merrier. Also a player moderator should respond immediately in the case of which a player asks them for help, advice, etc. A player moderator should earn his or her respect by abiding with all of the statements above, and if they do not they should be punished with demotion, because i feel moderator status is a privelege, and that you must earn it.
